She’s not very talented but she knows how to use what she has and puts on a great show each time. It makes sense that artist go for hits than establishing themselves as performers. Hits=revenue for the label and usually means album sales which equals more revenue for labels. I don’t think labels make any money from touring, so it would make sense that they want their artist to be Hot 100 regulars. And like I said, we don’t have many artist today who could establish themselves as performers even if they wanted too.
